Holiday hairstyles

This year's Advent season is a very special one. This time, Advent lasts longer than usual, which is a huge relief for many of us. We have more time to buy gifts and can enjoy the run-up to the big celebration for longer. There is also plenty of time to think about the right outfit and the right hairstyle for Christmas and New Year's. To help you find the perfect hairstyle for your extensions, we have gathered a few hairstyle ideas. Take a look at our suggestions for hair extensions now. We look forward to inspiring you!

Wet-hair look

Let's start right away with a slightly bolder hairstyle. The wet-hair or sleek look is more popular than ever with stars and celebrities. So if you love long, straight hair, you should definitely give this trend a try.

For the sleek look, all you need to do is style your hair extra straight with a flat iron. This works with all human hair extensions. But always use a heat protectant! If you would like to try the wet look, comb your hair straight back and then use hairspray, wax or gel to hold it in place.

Challenge:

You rarely see this hairstyle in everyday life, and you definitely need to make sure it doesn't look as if your hair is simply greasy. The Kardashians are a good example of how to rock this style without looking unkempt. It works best with a very chic outfit. Paired with a fancy dress, you really can't go wrong.

Half-up hair

We are big fans of half-up hairstyles. They are simply perfect for any occasion. Your hair is out of your face, yet the length and fullness of your mane still get to shine. This style is also totally on trend right now. Another advantage is that you can wear it wavy or straight, whatever you feel like. Leave a few strands loose around your face to give the look a romantic touch.

To do this, take a hair clip, a scrunchie or a thin hair tie and make a bun or a ponytail with the top half of your hair – that is, only the top layer. The best way to section it off is with a rattail comb.

Challenge:

But make sure the attachment points of your hair extensions don't peek through. With two mirrors, you can easily see how best to section your hair without any clips, tapes or bondings showing.

Big or small waves

Soft waves, which you can create with a curling iron, are a simple yet beautiful hairstyle. If you don't have a curling iron at hand, a blow-dryer and a round brush will do the job too. Here as well, a heat protectant is a must.

Scandi waves are ideal because it doesn't matter whether all the waves are even or each one looks different.

Challenge:

None, really!

Updos or buns

You can either go for a classic updo or create a modern messy bun. Your hair isn't freshly washed? All the better, because updos work perfectly with hair that has some grip!

Here, too, let a few strands fall around your face. This tip is also great for round faces, because the framing strands make your face look slimmer.

Challenge:

Again, it is important to keep an eye on your attachment points and not to make the bun or updo too tight.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!
