What is known is that resin or beeswax was used as an adhesive for extensions at the time. How Do I Remove My Tape-in Extensions?
Removing tape-ins is just as easy as applying them. With our tape remover, you can remove the adhesive strips from your own hair and the extension strands without residue. Afterwards, you can reuse your extensions: with the matching replacement tapes, simply re-tape them and attach them to your hair again.
How to release the tapes:
- Apply a little tape remover between the adhesive strips and massage it in. After a short time, loosen the adhesive strips with a tail comb and carefully pull them out of your own hair.
- If it still pulls or pinches a little, apply more tape remover to the strand and repeat the process. Any remaining adhesive can then easily be combed out of your own hair.
- If you want to reuse the extensions right away, simply remove the remaining adhesive from the strands and let them dry thoroughly. Then attach the new adhesive strips and apply the tape-ins to your own hair again.
So reusing your tape-in extensions is really easy. With a little practice, you will become more experienced and faster over time as you repeat the process every four to eight weeks.
